Eulogy of the Angels: LP
Eulogy of the Angels is the Sophmore Album and brainchild of singer/songwriter William Fortier. Garnering influences from the likes of Neil Young, David Bowie, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Beck, his songs are such that they can stand alone stripped-down to his guitar and voice, while also possessing the flexibility to be expressed as full sonic experiences with diverse instruments and layers. In this forthcoming album Eulogy of the Angels, this depth of expression is achieved through collaboration with brother Eric Fortier (bass, piano, synths) and friend Kevin Pryles (drums, synths). What has emerged is a unique blend of classic and contemporary styles - paying homage to the inspirations while pushing the envelope with new ideas.
